The Holographic Collection by Ortal takes electric fireplaces to a whole new level. It is Ortal’s first line of electric fireplaces, but through technological advancements and innovative industry capabilities, the Holographic Collection features unparalleled realism and powerful breakthroughs in heating.

This series uses dual OLED-screen holographic projection to offer a lifelike 3D visual of flames. Sustainability was also a major focus for Ortal during the conception of this series; the Holographic Collection produces zero emissions while offering an energy-efficient heating solution. The heat output can range up to 5,120 BTU per hour.

The Holographic series also features one of the shallowest models on the market at a depth of 17.25 inches, making it a versatile and seamless installment for any space. However, it is also available in 60-inch and 74-inch models. Variations also include front-facing, corner, or three-sided styles. The 3D flame visuals also come in a range of adjustable styles, speeds, and heights.

Color Drenching: The bold hue movement that is sticking around in 2026

What is color drenching?Color drenching is an interior design trend where a single color is used on every surface in a room. This includes walls, trim, doors, and even the ceiling, creating a cohesive and immersive atmosphere. The technique can make a small room feel larger or a spacious room feel cozier, and it often extends to furniture, radiators, and cabinetry for a bold, unified effect.

While the term color drenching is relatively new, the concept has deep roots in design history. The look can be traced to historic European interiors where monochromatic schemes added depth and luxury. Even in the Victorian era, richly saturated jewel tones were often used in grand spaces such as libraries and parlors. It reappeared during the 1960's and 1970's as well. Designers have long understood that a single, enveloping hue can create a striking sense of mood and continuity.
