Super high-quality, thick, great color, perfect size! Very warm.-update: After plugging it in this October, it just flashes red and does not turn on now. I have not tried to wash it but have used it on many days without the heat. I have tried plugging it into different outlets as well. I have a different one in my wishlist now since I'M ALWAYS COLD.

The Holmes electric blanket is super soft, but there is room for improvement.

The cord from the controller to the blanket is a bit too short. I also wish the blanket were
brown on both sides. I don't care for the simulated sherpa-- but it is soft.

On the plus side, the blanket is very cozy and gets toasty warm on the high setting. And I like the generous size. However, I wish that the heat did not turn off after only 3 hours. The timer should shut off the blanket after 8 hours.

I now use it just as a regular blanket because I thought I would never get a return on it after trying to fix it so many times. I spent so much money on it. But it is very comfortable.
