These trays are a nice smooth finish. Good heavy weight. Rubber non-slip bottom. The 4" is the perfect size for my quilting. I can toss the long quilt pins into the tray on the fly as i sew and dont have to aim, just get them in the general diraction. Beats a pin cushion. Bought two, one for by my machine and one by the ironing board. I would purchase again.

I build/tinker with computers as a hobby and I finally bought one of these magnetic dishes. I wish I had sooner - it keeps all those tiny screws in one place. The advantage of using this over a non-magnetic dish or container is that you can use the magnetism to separate groups of screws within the dish. You can also tap a screwdriver head against the dish to give your screwdriver some temporary magnetism.

The magnet is strong enough that you can turn the dish upside down and the screws won't move or fall out.

This 4-inch diameter dish is perfect for PC builders. The bigger 6+ inch dishes would have been too large, I think.

I am currently using this item to hold paperclips since we do 600 paychecks per month, as we are entering our timecards in for processing we accumulate lots of paperclips. This item is big enough to hold lots and if you drop a few on the floor or table all you have to do is put this tray next to them and wala they are all picked up.
