It's Tall: I'm 6'5" and I fit in it (just had to wrap a towel around the footrest to rest my legs on).
It's Thin: It's rather narrow so a wider person would have trouble squeezing into it. Also, be aware that the weight capacity is 300 lb.
It's Sturdy: The construction is sturdy. I was concerned when it arrived fully-assembled, in a worn box, with no padding around the item, but it was in great condition. The frame is steel, not aluminum, so very strong.
It's Easy to Fold: It's the easiest chair in the world to fold up--just grab the top and lift!
It's Compact: Given it's height, I am impressed with how compact it is when folded.
My only minor gripes are that (1) the locking mechanism is awkward to use for a person sitting in the chair (but I don't use it anyway), and (2) I'm not 100% sure yet if my back likes the chair. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how far up the chair to sit for maximum comfort.
I recommend getting an additional cushion attachment for the bottom or your legs or ankles just rest on metal bar unless you tuck them under bar. If you want to save money just split a pool noodle and cover the bar or use a travel pillow
The head pillow is comfortable like a memory foam feel . Easy to fall asleep in
This one is good. Very good. Better than some that I've tried or owned over the years, but definitely not as good as the original even though one or two things are better than that one.
Okay, so what do I like.... the pulls that lock the chair into position are the best I've seen on any of these chairs. You know when the chair is locked and the switch is easy to manuever which I appreciate. The color is also very nice though more navy than the cobalt pictured. And finally, the chair is quite comfortable.
What I don't like as much.... the front of the of the chair hits the ground at an odd angle which makes getting into the chair a little (but only a little) more awkward. My other little niggling complaint (and it is little as well) is that when reclining, the chair drops suddenly back if you're not careful. What I like about the older chair is that you can slowly move to the position you want. That might not seem like a big deal to you but it IS a bit of a rude awakening if you go slamming back faster than you had intended.
BOTTOM LINE: All in all its a great chair. Not the best zero gravity ever but if you've never been in a zero gravity chair you just don't know what you're missing. They're fabulous and this one is as well. Its just not five star perfect. Pretty darn close though. Maybe 4.6 stars.
Hands down the best outdoor chairs money can buy. My father hates buying new things and will use things until they completely fall apart. However, he is getting older and needs the extra back support. I got him this chair in hopes that he would spend more time outside and would find it comfortable... HE LOVES IT. He used it all Spring, Summer, and Fall... he would even put on his coat and sit or lie on the chair in the winter.
The Caravan canopy zero gravity reclining chair with adjustable headrest is the perfect outdoor chair. Comfortable enough to want to keep inside, but can withstand all types of weather outside (ie. Rain, snow storm, etc). It also folds up conveniently for transport or storage. My chair was covered in snow for a couple of months and it seems to have no damage at all. As soon as the snow melted, I started to use my chair again.
The chair offers superior lumbar support and a headrest that works for all body types. Great for sitting and reading or lying back and taking in the sun.
I am 6'1" and about 180 pounds. This chair is perfect for me. I have seen people much smaller and much bigger enjoy the chair. However, there is an "oversized" option for this same chair that you can buy if you are over 6'2" and think it may be a tight fit.
I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS CHAIR! (I promise I don't work for whatever company sells this chair, but I am a huge fan and have probably attributed to nearly 50 purchases of this chair just by people trying it at my house and immediately deciding to buy their own)
Hope this review helped!
